Back on my feet.... sort of!

I'll spare the long story but basically broke my heel mid December, had to have surgery 23rd December to strap the heel bone back straight and screw the straps to the parts of the heel bone. So today some 8 weeks later i've had the cast taken off, X ray to give me the all clear and start putting weight on it :)

Which sounded great in theory but trying it was another, f**k me it's painful :D

Also, the X ray showed i cracked the heel not once but in 3 places!

So, from today onwards and upwards :cool:

:wasntme: :agree: I tell you what i'm struggling to take 2 steps without the crutches, i can stand up unaided no problems but to actually take the step.... I can't lol

It tells me 1 thing....... Never, EVER take your body for granted..... Be careful out there.... Stop and think if only for a couple of seconds, it might be the difference between carrying on as normal or facing nearly 3 months of grief :coffee:
