Right , i went to fit an external oil cooler last week to the cup, everythings is on except when i went to fit the bolt into the block that the sandwich plate fits on it was 1m to big when measured on calipers, i tried all combinations as i had the original bolt{reno} and the mini extention bolt...but to no avail, i then thought o.k. ill see what devolps, i then kindly obtained another male to male bolt from luke and guess what , thats too big too?..., i also contacted think automotive and asked them, they then sent me another male to male bolt , of which still doesnt fit..im begining to think it should be a M19 not a M20 which is what i have and still doesnt fit..., i have fitted one on nicole and im sure i justed used a male -female brass bolt that went into the block , the sanwich plate went on and the oil filter went on after.....grrrr , how blimmin hard can it be?, i even started thinking maybe the block had been tap and dyed but i have tried the bolts on two other blocks, please can anyone unscramble my head...cheers , matty..:)

It does, I had one, my advice, file it in the bin and use a factory one with an inline stat, abit more work but it'd be better in the long run.

Oh and the hole in the centre of the mocal plate is bigger than the hole in the factory plate

Not a clue mate but just sayin if you've got the standard plate still your better off making that work than mocal's piece of ****e that you have cut the engine mount to make fit and has a rep for the stat sticking closed

there are two different sizes of holes in the block. definately between an r5 and a r11 block, maybe the ph1 to ph2 block too.
