Oil on my mrs Rug [Archive]

The wife is going off her rocker!!!

£400 Rug and my size 9 Boots + Oil = OMG!!!

Any one have any suggestiosn how too remove Oil from a wool Rug??

I did suggest White Spirit but i was told to put it back in the garage!!!! i then suggested the hand cleaner but Its Green and hurts your hands its that strong!

OOOOohhhh, Vinegar. Get some of that bad boy on it.let it soak in. then paper towels. Repeat. then Repeat again.

WHITE vinegar diluted with wool cleaner (equal parts)

:cry: iv been there!!i use vanish stain remover mousse!its a froffy cream in a spray can!works wonders :D and maybe chocs for wife

I shall try this, the moose didnt work! nor did it last time we had to buy a new carpet! but the rug is like ermmmmm, well our Turbo Its just the heart of the operation :)

Thing in it looks like ive done the waltz dance when i came in!

Andy, sorry bud but the title on its own amuses me....:laugh:...;), glad you got it sorted , i once dyed our kitchen carpet with my door card dye project , the next day sadie moved my car where i couldnt see it and told me she had sold it....:eek:...:laugh:
