View Full Version : no rear discs, wheel clearance
Bit of a random 1, does anyone know if i take the rear discs off will i still be able to rotate the rear wheels once they're back on. As in they wont be rubbing against the inside of the arch or something ?

Don't the wheels bolt to the rear discs, once the discs are off you can't fit the wheels on??

correct, no disks, nothing to bolt the wheels on to.
Oh, i thought the wheel bolts went through the discs but screwed into the hub ?

no, that's just on the front :)
IIRC you have the disc, the wheel bearing pressed in the middle of the disc, which then slides over a stub axle.
O.K thanks for the info peeps, looks like i wont be selling the discs afer all :(
