i went through my box of renault 5 gt turbo stuff and the log book proudly reminded me my car has only had 5 previous owners

how many has yours had?

Current one im the lucky for some 13th owner. The raider is the 6th I think. The one which I sold on about 3 years ago I was the 3rd owner. But then again the owner I got the car off didn't send off the log book so should have been the 4th.

When I sold my Ph1 last year, it was over 22 years old and I was only the 3rd owner. :cool:

Looks like Nimbus Grey that Audi painted some of their TT's in. Didn't a car mag paint their demo 5 in the same colour, with the leather buckets...... Then ended up being broken?

Ive got the front bumper off it, to say the paint work is shocking is an understatement.

Yep nimbus. Turned out great as me and mate did it in my single garage!! Just got to decide on rims and tidy interiot for its unveiling at the shows this year. Any rim ideas?

Dont believe the Coulthard thing...

Please discuss.I have plenty paperwork sugesting he did own it but the only way to confirm would be if he said it to be himself which he hasnt yet.Hopefully il get a reply one day.

What a few people say on here adds up aswell.

I am only the 2nd owner on my 5 and have had it around 12 years now. First owner was a middle aged lady so it wasnt exactly thrashed within an inch of its life. :)

Got a 200 litre compressor that i changed from 3 phase to single, plenty of guts. Then fitted a regulator/water trap in the garage. All in it cost about 400 quid in materials. Used the best stuff we could get, filler primer to get everything smooth then base and laquer. Was a real mission as we couldnt get round the whole car in one hit so did it in stages! Youll see it at the shows!
