View Full Version : Whats best for cleaning engine oil off silicone hoses
Nicole was a naughty girl last night and decided to destroy my swirl pot and spray engine oil over my nice shiny red silicone hoses:dearme:
Gunna give the bay a proper clean now :cooter:
Just discovered the oil is a barstool to get off so can i use any old de-greaser, what does everyone else use.
Girlfriend suggested lemon juice or vinegar :laugh:
what shouldnt i use??? ie, Mr Muscle :cool:

WD40 first then Auto Glym Bumper care to buff em up afterwards
Baby wipes work well :agree:

Brake/carb cleaner are very good as well.

yeah ive always blasted them with wd40 aswell then rubbed like mad with a rag!!! :cooter: should come up pretty good :agree:
Baby wipes. I've been told by Mark Hale of Samco that WD40 over time will **** the hoses.

wonder wipes from paint shops (im a decorator) grease anything should sell in halfords
