Valve Stem Seals help

Can anyone tell me how to fit the head valve stem seals i try using a sockit and tap on it but they see to break or crack any help or tips

I don't bother with em personaly, I heard many story of them breaking up and going through the engine but never believed it until I stripped down an old engine and found 6 of the 8 in the sump

Leave them off. It will be fine if your valve guides are ok.

Just done all 8 valve stem seals broke 1 using the socket method I then just simply pushed (with a little force) and twisted with my fingers to get them in place all is good now:D

Don't forget they don't fit on all the way:smokin:

Shouldn't if the valve guides are in good order, besides all 5's with or without valve steam seals smoke alittle on start up, whats abit more to the mix
