Ive got an engine in pieces in the garage and am trying to decide whether or not to replace the piston and liners. The liners have very slight marks but you can still see the cross hatching, they have a very small lip on the bottom of the bore. The pistons on the other hand have wear to the skirts. Should I replace both or just re hone and put some fresh rings in?

Pic of the worst piston of all four.

I'd personally be fitting some other pistons mate.

You got pic of liner?

The liners only have very faint scoring, can not be felt with you finger nail. You can still see the cross hatching

Id just swap rings and give the liners a de-glaze and build it back... but this is a hard question to ask peeps when you dont have the parts in front of you.
