there 15's with 195 45 tyres, no scrubbing of tyre anywhere but on full lock.. the rear drops not measured as such, just moved the spline till it slotted in at about the height wanted.. i think it was agreed that 1 inch of visable tyre between the arch and rim is perfect for most..

much lower and the rear arms smash your boot floor in like mine did at this height.. now needs welding to repair the damage:scared:

its not pretty but so long as the rear gauges sit still then all is well on the adjustment.. it was out from the last time i did it, but with coilovers and polys its getting a hammering.. i think it adjusted up ok, but the fecking steering wheels a little pi55ed again, thats the third time, pain in the ar5e setting it up so will live with it for now:rolleyes:

ebay, there are various differant sizes, i waited about a month or two untill i found ones the right size, it was a right pain in the arse sourcing them.
i just looked on ebay and there are loads on there now all differant sizes too, bloody typical:rolleyes:.

Just managed to get one winter wheel on tonight........I can't get round the other side of the garage cos its too tight, and I can't get the jack under the rear of the car cos that too tight aswell

Crap weather and dark nights suck.....

anyone advise the best way to jack up the car when it's too low? I thought about running it up on a chock of wood to give me an inch or two. Is there an easier way.........oh and I'm using a 2 tonne trollie jack, I dont have the original

Dave i presume you have the same problem.......your car is a low as! :goodJob:

The standard jack works a treat to give it a bit of lift!

I am impressed Dave! Like you said aslong as the spacers are on the rims and its steady then you cant really go wrong!

i use 2 trolley jacks at work, i think they have a lowlift to get the sills but after paying what i paid fixing them and spending 2 days with my uncle sorting out the front inner and outer sills, theres no fecking way a jacks touching them....rubber pad or not!

i go up on the noggin of the rear beam just infront of the rear wheel, and then slot another under to the rear of the subframe.. if i get a flat tyre in fecked:crap:

im sure ive heard of inflatable bags that slot under the sill and you use a fag lighter socket to run a pump, but i might be dreaming.. that would be good stashed under the passenger seat..

no point starting another when you can join in..

i know my 13's with r888s were off the chart in the dry and really good in the damp conditions, but standing water was a worry as was really p1ssing wet weather. but my 15s on t1rs are taking some getting used to, they feel good, but i feel a massive loss in dry weather grip, and wet weathers still slippery although very easy to manage when its getting hairy..

i think perhaps my uber drop on coilover might not be helping, i need them set up better but im not really someone to test the cars limits:(
