phoned renault today for a price on sideskirt clips for my 5, according to them theres nothing on the system for a 5 its too old and he just laughed when i said about the part

"why cant you just pot rivet them on? thats how theyre all done as far as i know on newer cars, never mind this 5 turbo or whatever it is called."

my reply involved a lot of sarcastic remarks and and swearing at him not even knowing what a renault 5 turbo was!

oh and best thing too, my 5 registration supposedly is from a golf van according to the deaf idiot:laugh:

so............ anyone have the part number for the pack of 6 sideskirt clips that you get? im needing 2 pairs to finish my car off its bugging me now!:laugh:

Do you mean a 5 Turbo, or do you mean a 5 gt turbo? ;)

I think i'd be slightly more concerned if it came back as that! :crap: :D

he put N instead of M despite telling him in phonetic alphabet 4 bleedin times mate:coffee::scratch:

he probably didnt know either of them mate the way he was, had to get passed on to an old boy cos of it in the end, bloody disgrace

p.s. i know well enough the difference mate believe me, im not one of these "know it all RTOC" members due to not having many, but i know the differences between cars with my work over the years in the trade thankfully.... just wish Turbo 2's were cheaper, love them:cool:

The 2nd link is cheaper to go direct to Renault i purchased a pack recently for just under £5

part numbers werent the ones renault had, must have changed them at some point or slightly wrong on numbers, however parts are on their way and should be arriving shortly.
