fitting an r5 gt turbo to a fiesta rst

hi could anyone tell me or know if the r5 gt t2 fits onto a fiesta rs turbo as a guy is askin me on ebay, or if modifications are needed what they are???thanks

don't the fiesta rs turbo use a t3 turbos ???

no t2 but people uprate to t3 of escort

That sounds a bit odd dont they have a T3 flange on the mainfold?

ok mate thanks, also what is the a/r numbers for a standard r5 t2 is it front 38 and rear 35??

the fiesta has a funny shaped turbine housing and an extended discharge on the compressor housing, so not going to fit without an awful lot of work.

pretty sure the t2 on a rst is better than on the gt turbo and has a diff housing etc tell him upgrade to t3 i did on my old rst and never looked back
