Awryt guys right my dad took my carb of my car the other week to do a overhaul on it everything looked fine untill we took it for a drive.in 1st and second gear it boosts and drives fine but when i go into 3rd or 4th gear it wont go past 3000rpm but the turbo boosts fine. it seems as if there isnt eny fuel in the chamber or somthing i am not to sure its confusing me:mad:.eny ideas guys?

Check to see if the a/c jet is still present.

Just take the carb top off and you should see a small brass screw just before the aux & main venturis :)

right guys think i have found the problem i think the hoses are round the wrong way the only problem is i dont no where they go does enyone have a picture of there carb so i can see where the correct hoses go thanks gaz:cool:

awryt guys got the problem fixed. fuel supply filter on carb was around the wrong way:ashamed:.

lol DOH! ..when i was stripping my carb down it didnt have a filter ..so luckily i had another carb which had a filter ..cleaned that up and put that on instead:laugh:
