blown exhaust gasket

my car developed a ticking sound which i traced to the exhaust gasket, has any body else seen this happen. all bolts were correctly torqued up or was the wrong gasket sent in the kit. it has only been on the car around 1000 miles and just worried ther could be another cause.

Yeah seen that alot of times mate, check the exhaust manifold is flat could possibly be warped abit

thanks for that. all looked ok when i chaged them over today sat a stright edge down the mainifold face. ill see how this one performs
