yet another problem

when i start my car from cold i would usually start it with the choke half way out then gradully pull the choke back in as the car begins to warm up.

For some reason the choke wont hold the revs anymore and will therfore cut out untill the car is up to temp. I av to balance the accelerator myself at about 1500rpm untill the engine is warn enough an will idle at the correct position.

Does anyone know why this is.

try checking the nut that secures the choke cable is still secure and not pulling out without pulling the lever.

:agree:..as above or it sounds like the cable is stretched ,or possibly buy an OE new cable , fit it and see how she goes.:)

cheers for the replies i thort it mite av bin the cable that was strecthed but i havnt yet looked. Wer would i find this nut to check
