I think that Raldes used to do a 4 pot brake kit for the gtt that fitted under the standard wheels. I don't know what calipers they used though.

thats positive news, im glad its been done before. i have been in touch with high spec so i will see if they can offer somthing. they get 4 pots under 13's on kit cars so cant see why they cant on ours unless they refuse to make the brackets. only differance i can find is they use a 245mm disc smallest instead of our 238 stock so i will have to wait for their answer.

I think that the Raldes kit (if it even existed, and I'm not dreaming ) used slightly bigger disks.

I think hi-spec will ask for a wheel and hub from you, if it is a kit they have not produced before.

i have spare wheels and hubs and they are only a hour or so away so i could drop one in. hopefully i should get a reply in the next few days from them. ideally i want to run their calipers on my discs but doubt that will happen.

Wilwood used to do a 4 pot kit specific to the GTT running std 13" Alloys using 255mm discs. I don't think the kit is still sold but, you can still buy all the bits. Try Rally Design.

There's a bloke on ebay whom sells a wilwood kit for Fords that fits under a 13" rim I know he doesn't sell them for the 5 gtt as I have asked recently but if some one can make up a bracket to use the ford kit I assume it would work fine

i may have somone who will make me the brackets to fit a set. just gauging interest but would anyone else be interested in a set. nothing is final yet but wanted to see if theres any interest. it will be the hi-spec ultralight calipers to fit under a 13" wheel.

Id be interested if the calipers came with dust seals, iirc the old 4 pot setup for 13's didnt?

the ultralight ones dont seem to have dust seals only the more heavy duty 4 pots which are used on the 285mm and up have the seals. but they wont fit due to the size of the caliper unless you run 15's and up.

how much problem will be caused running a caliper with no seals?

Not sure really mate, on a lightly used car there may be no problems?

On a daily/all weather car muck/salt/grit may wear out the calipers. Hard to say really

Ford use a 4x108 PCD and not the GTT 4x100 PCD. Centre bore will be different too.

I contacted Wilwood in the States and they don't make the Euro kits. Apparently that was done at Rally Design but they don't have an email that I can find?

Renault Power in Germany do a Wilwood based kit and may be worth a shout. Their kit comes with 2 piece alloy bell discs too! Check out the link:

840 Euro's ain't cheap though!

Thanks woznaldo for pitting the effort in to search for that lot :). I'm meeting the guy in about a week and will see what he can come up with.

I know wilwood do a kit to fit standard clio 259mm discs as I was doing a group buy at the end of last year if that would help with info.

Its in the group buy group on this site.

Interesting the prototypes that are in black are from WMS Motorsport, and the chap has done some very nice specials for me in the past, down to single one-offs:

I have contact details if anybody needs them.
