Engine builders:??

hi im thinking of building or getting someone to build me a bullet proof engine in 2010, i would rather pay someone who knows everything about them to build it as they know the tried and tested parts etc, i want it to be a big bhp fast road/track engine and wanting to spend around £2000 on the engine build and upto £1000 on a turbo. where is the BEST place to get the engine built at??? theres not many places up round lancashire who know much about them, thats why have always done the work myself. so whats your ideas on engine builders??

I suggest you find a solid RTOC member with some spare time. Get some feedback for them from the boards etc.

In my opinion you should ask the Nocturnal lads or maybe Marky Mark. :agree:

nice1 ill keep looking into it, nocturnal developments???who are they i had a donor car with nocturnal developments on the windscreen sun strip, is it a firm?? has anyone had gt tuning, ktec or bb performance tuning do any engine builds??? which is best

I think nocturnal is members haz and scoff. Gt and ktec will be alot more expensive and
don't have the same knowledge when it comes to setting up the carb and engine for your big hp.

thanks mate, yeh just checked it out haz is nocturnal developments trader, and scoffs profile is pretty impressive, wish i was that clued up, renault engine with vw running gear, cant wait to see what is does this year

GT Tuning - not doing 5's now, working on new shape Mini's
K-Tec - Still about but don't rate parts from there
BB - Don't know what happened to them, vanished

All 3 have something in common, bloody expensive!
