i use a 460 turbo auto as my main car, now im wanting to up the power but only just a little.

what boost pressure do the b18ft's run as std? im wanting to run about 12psi depending on ecu.
what is the max boost pressure you can run before having to mod/upgrade the ecu.?
how much if available are ecu's with the boost limit removed?
what type[if there are types] of under bonnet bleed valve do i need?
what is the inlet size of the std recirc dumpvalve ie 25mm or 34mm etc.?

hi

for 12 psi you don't have te change nothing!
above 12 psi you have 2 remove r206 in the box.
i currently run 19 psi in a redistricted ecu, above this the engine runs way 2 rich (maf needs to be changed)
check my topic for bleedvalve setup.
DV size i don't know, but a VAG DV is better than org volvo
kind regards,

Sieger

whats the control valve? is this usually located on the firewall just above the turbo?
i thought i would just have to plumb the bleed valve inbetween the inlet manifold and actuator  or is that only gtt specific?
infact sod it, i'll get the local garage to fit it for me.
so i take it that i only need a 2way bleed valve?

the controlvalve is infact a LPG valve (winter or summer modus) so you can direct the flow off the air

so do i actually need this bit? i thought the bleed valve is simply fitted inbetween the compressor side and actuator.?

I have subscribed to my first RTOC thread.

no if you only have the bleedvalve installed, you cant change the boost with the lpg solenoid you can swith between 2. The one you have set by adjusting the actuator rod and a second that goes via the bleedvalve.
