Your best finding 13" for a rim... You can mill or bore out a rim, or as ive done aswell as milling in the past, on my renault 5 turn all your hubs down and use rings for when using renault wheels etc.. As for tyre size depends what box/ratio your using... id look for 23inch tall tyre at least to start of on...

email lou@laidbackracing.co.uk (lou@laidbackracing.co.uk) and ask for a price..

Lou has been in contacted with EXOSPEED racing and shipping a load of slick packages over including skinnys :D and a good price to (around £600 or so for a pair of front rims with MH 23" rubber ready to go)... around the same price for some skinnys.. These wheels are awsome, im sure scoff will say the same... You would have to bore them out as there honda fitment and also may have to modifi your brakes to fit... DK might have some more info as i think he works with Aaron from Laidbackracing...

Failing that you could go the cheaper route and just ship some tyres in from MH racemasters and find some old steelies... Ive got a spare set of 22" slicks i dout im going to have chance to use again  i was hanging onto them incase my C1J ever makes a return to the strip...

As rob says really, they don't get any better then M&H or M/T. The exospeed rims are a bonus if you can afford them, they are incredibly light, almost un-believable.

im goin for around 300-320hp and using the phaze 2 r5 gtt box mate, so will these slicks (both the 22" and 23" b ok for that ?)

also are both the new slicks from EXOSPEED 23" and the 22" you have poss for sale both 13" rimmed ?

would love to go for the new wheels and tyres but its goin to depend on money so mite be intrested in you 22" depending on price and wear ect

cheers

not sure if 2001 laguna "steels" fit but if they do you should try them out, they are a composite not steel and really are unbelievably light. lighter than any other wheel ive ever picked up.

http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=12370 :) Save on the import tax and US shipping costs... MHracemasters themselves dont do shipping deals....

which work out at £84.28

or these

http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?crn=71&rn=277&action=show_detail

at £86.78

and finally these

http://www.mandhtires.com/store.php?crn=71&rn=323&action=show_detail

they're prices for each tyre, so multiply that by 2! Shipping was about £60 the last time I asked ( a couple of years ago, so I might be way off the mark ) and import should be about 19% + handling charge from UPS, or whoever. £260 -£280 all in ? thats if they mark the parcel, they might not if you ask nicely.

22" is what you want for standard GT ratios, thats 126mph @ 7000rpm. rob's tyres should do you fine.

as for wheels, that's always a problem :( you might recall I made some out of old steelies for my last set, since sold on. I still have the old Andy Cooke 7.5J rims that I bought from you a few years back if you fancy those ? I have since used the spacers that came with them, so you would need some 25mm hubcentrics with them.

Would 22" fit under the arches on my van without mods?

gt turbo arches ? they're borderline under GT arches, but work OK if the car isn't too low.

Standard non gt arches & lowered 25mm. Are they funny about tyres hanging out the arches on the dragstrip?

Not for RWYB's, RTOC day and the like. they start to get a bit funny in real competition. I can't remember, but do the top's of steel wings protrude a bit lower than the GTT arch would ? IE, when you fit an arch to a non-GT wing you have to trim the metal at the top, so it may or may not get in the way of the big tyre. I think at only 25mm lowering it should be fine.

They fit my GT with a 50mm drop but this wasnt tested on lock to lock to see if they catch the sideskirts, nor did i try the balloon test with a burnout... this was with an ET20 rim and 5mm spacer..

Brigsy there the tyres on the exo rims i should you when you came over that time..
