log off time. if i cant air my veiw and say and do as i please well within the guildlines.
so whats the crack , alot of pointless crappy topics dont get moved or deleted , why do i find mine disapear quicker than i can write em :(

I dont think calling Mods gay will help. However i have noticed they remove and lock up your posts.
I was just about to complain about but then thought nah, the dont give a fook.

The mods have the right to remove any thread they feel are irrelevant to a car club, and against any club rules...
We have a general chat forum, we could just ban it and say no threads/post about anything other than Renault Turbo's... but that would just be plain gay.
Mods/Committee members are human, we do talk about funny/strange things, but that tends to be private and not on a puplic forum..
A thread was removed where a guy put a glass bottle up his ar&e and the glassed smashed... causing lots of blood and the guy having to pick out the glass... do you really want to see things ike that?
Now the post/thread that your referring to i have no idea about, but its been removed, so end off. We generally leave things going and hope the settle down but when people talk about pikey's,chav's, benefit abuser's etc its hard to leave a thread like that as people get very passionate about there feeling's.... but if you want to spout about things like that then fine but perhaps RTOC is not the place to do so.

Chavs, pikeys, benefit abusers Rtoc will protect you.
I'm gay but I rarely mod or is it the other way round .
You get bumped off because you do tend to get on a soapbox about things that are totally subjective and then proceed to try and get more attention when things don't go your way . Accusing others of censorship etc .....it all fits in quite nicely with your beliefs I'm sure .
Your post are quite often aggressive and show a basic lack of understanding or tolerance for anyone that doesn't subscribe to your way of thinking .
If you were to approach it in a more reasonable manner and with less of a ' I'm right you're ****e ' attitude you may find you get a fairer hearing .

Dave, I've not posted on any of your threads because I really haven't got a clue what you're trying to say. Now I'm not that old and out of touch, I understand text speak and shorthand but you seem to have your own unique language. Is there a translator somewhere you can link me too?

I can only agree about Dave seeming to have his own language. This honestly is not a dig at you Dave, but put aside some of the errors in spelling, I still can't really understand your point a lot of the time. Maybe you're just throwing random words in, as a hidden message so that those enlightened enough (more so than us) will understand it.

Please remember the club rules are there for a reason and serious/persistant offenders can be banned,strike impossed or privelage's (such as forum/vlassified's use) removed.

Spend hours every week sorting out orders ? Hours a day keeping the website running ( well at the minute :laugh: ) hours sorting out the new flyers and newsletters ? Hours over months and months organising events for members ? hours doing the books and sourcing deals for members ? I am not gonna say i dont use the mod account, because i do. Its there for a reason and I use it. I also happily pm members about the reason why I close/move threads etc and often use my personal account although i should the Sir Mod account should be used so that other moderators can see what has been said via pm's etc...

Honestly this is getting out of hand.
I'm a relatively new member of the club and have so far found it to be easily the best car forum that I'm a member off.
Now in the year or so that I've been on here I've picked up on who know's what there talking about and who doesn't, I've also came to realise who post's total crap on a daily basis, to the point that when I log on hit "posts in the last 24hrs" if they're the thread starter I won't even waste my time looking at it.
Why can't people just accept that this is a car forum full of usefull information and not a social networking site. It seems some members spend their days thinking of controversial threads and argumentitive points which I also feel are of no benefit of the club.
If people really feel the moderating team are infringing there human rights and there freedom of speech then feel free to leave the club and force your views on some other misfortunate people on an alternative forum. Like cliosport for example there you will be allowed to argue till your egos are satified.

491 views, more often that not by the same people posting, clicking on the thread to see the latest... or 100's of members who think f*cking hell whats going on... i cant be ar*ed to reply as its a pointless thread...

Down the years there have always been the odd one or two that like to give it the big one about rights and civil liberties and how this club is run like a dictatorship. :bored: Phooey.
And there are always one or two odd balls that get folks' back up with the drivel they write (and the persistence with which they write it). :bla: Typical.
Experience has taught me that the complainers haven't got much else better to do (given that there are so many more worthy causes out there to be supporting*), and the drivelers become dribblers and eventually disappear.
*that is, better places to be defending the freedom of speech, rather than being all righteous on a flippin' turbo owners internet club site.

I've never locked a thread or edited one and I'm quite happy to have bun fight .
To start, i dont post very often, but always read through the threads. If there is something i dont like i ignore it. I think the problem here is that people are getting aggressive and causing needless arguments. Its always difficult to understand something that is in writing rather than spoken. Maybe thats the problem? :confused: The mods do there job, and its a bloody good job they do to. I personally would have deleted all the threads from the last few days too. If there's a problem then there is a better way to deal with it, ie at the AGM or through a pm to who you have a problem with, i think you can even pm sir mod. :confused:
This club does amazing things, and yes there are people who have been here for years and others who havent, everyone is as sarky as the nxt in a sensible thread.
I think the mods, comittee, members and agrieved get the point now.
I as a member would like to see this thread locked, and hopefully things can be sorted more amicably away from the eyes of everyone who doesnt care, but may start thinking twice about renewing there membership.
