Cheap car required for xmas

I know it's not vx related my girlfriend Sarah pasted her test last week but I am having some trouble tracking something cheap down. At 31 her insurance is not to silly but still needs to be insurance friendly hence the Ka, 206, punto type car for the 1st year

Alas elise S2 next year for her but will work the vx220 n/a with carpet kit and massive heater matrix conversion meanwhile http://www.vx220.org.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Autotrader / ebay etc do not seem to have much going (time of year not helped?)

small car! I also don't want something I have to work on every weekend :D lol

She is happy to have a performance car but really no point for the 1st year, needs to be nice and cheap and reliable.

She already is on about driving the vx on track! Think a driver development day is on the cars (for both :P)
