There are a few options off the top of my head with price being the overiding factor. The most expensive would be an aircraft style multi-pin polarised plug available from Demon Tweeks (prob not the cheapest though?).

There are a few companies that sell weather proof automotive connectors. Just give google a spin. I'll see if I can find a couple of links.

I can't find a weather proof plug, other than aircraft style, with enough pins?

13 Pins ( 1 row of 7 & 1 row of 6). You could use two 5 pins and a 3 pin connector as a trio or the aircraft style which can go up to 150 pin!

These are the ones that Demon Tweeks sell:

I have seen weather proof connectors at work they use for the looms that go in our boats, I will see if I can get the name of the supplier.:)

They come in 4,10,16,24,32 way. They can be ordered as in line plug/socket or plug to panel mount. The best thing is they are a screw terminal connection but suggest using drapy pin crimps used on wires as far better connection in to terminals.

Forget buying a weather proof connector from Demon tweaks and the like, they'll charge you a fortune just for 1 half of the connector.

I got my connector off the US ebay for 10quid delivered to my door in less than 3 days, its worked perfect ever since

i may just end up getting the local auto electrician to supply and fit a new connector! save me the headache.
