now fittting a PWR barrel cooler to my car , i have no experience with charge coolers and have no idea on the plumbing . I have done a quick sketch does it look about right?

Also i have a spare swirl pot around is it worth placing this between the header tank and the pump?

oh and will a std header tank for a 5 be a ok size for the coolant or too small, the other one i have is a little large :ashamed:
with thanks hammy

looks like you've got it right but i'm the same as you.
first thought was return on carb feed side but then it would make sense to have the cold feed from the rad to carb end ( that doesn't make sense but i kno what i mean!).
second was pump from cooler to tank, but then it would probably work better how you've got it.
third was spam with smileys :)

you should have the cold water entering the hottest (turbo) side of the core first for best efficiency :)

sounds like more crap to clutter your engine bay, to me ;)

the header tank will seperate air from the water if you arrange it like you shown. you should have the ports on the correct sides of the tank such that the water will swirl when the pump is on, to keep turbulence to a minimum.
