unleaded vs boost [Archive]

would running normal unleaded petrol be ok if your running lowish boost, ie I'm only running 10/11 psi at the moment?? Or should I just keep using super?? Also if using just normal what boost can be used safely before having to use super all the time??

Who here has always used normal unleaded with no issues etc????

i swapped between the 2 dependin on how skint i was...... :laugh::laugh: never had a problem.

You should be fine on 95RON unleaded. I've ran my coupe on 95 at 15psi with no problems.

I use Sainsburys super pretty much all the time. It's 109.9p per litre here at the moment and I'd rather use the highest octane available.

I remember when our local Asda Wallmart was selling 'super', that was like rocket fuel :laugh:

used unleaded 95 ron most of the time unless pod or a good blast with the odd 4 star if found
