Does anyone have or know of a pair of brake discs for a T2. (260mm)
Got one set of Tarox G88's but need a similar set or even standard new set to keep me going. No-one seems to have any.

Needed asap!!!!

peugeot 505 t, but they are 5 stud so take the to a machine shop and get them re-drilled!

there was a french site that told you how to do it but its not hard, just remember that a T2 is 4x98 (not 4x100 as in all other renaults!)

Cheers for that, but I am going to make sure I get the right ones on there even if it kills( which referring to brakes is quite possible:laugh:)

Really want to match them up, to even up the braking.

Think I will just have to wait the 2 week lead time until the Tarox enter the country:rolleyes:

Apparently not. Tarox appear to be the only aftermarket discs available.
By all means try, but I made a lot of phone calls and the above statement is the conclusion I have drawn.

Not happy either - Bloody demon tweeks! Sent me the wrond pads, they promised me they were TURBO 2 pads!(I strongly highlight this to every gimp I speak to at the end of the phone), yet they are half the size of the ones I have taken off.
GIMPS!!!!:brickwall:

are you sure you have std brakes! as you'll be amazed how many T2's DON'T!

T2's run the same caliper front and back so you can compare front and back pads to make sure

i'm sure i've got some T2 pads kicking around the garage, its just finding them :scared:

Definitely the original brakes.
260mm discs

Tarox dimension are 259 x 20 x 53.9

The pads are original as well, they are hoooooge.

Your world is not a place I like to be at this point in time, all I want is to get her on the road:cry:

just order them off one of the many french websites that specialise in turbo 2's. in all the time you've been asking people, they could have delievered them.

try mecaparts, 3s, or even gbs alpine.

I did that literally seconds before logging on just now. Bit the bullet and ordered some discs from frogland, fed up of everyone making sucking noises through their teeth and saying "ooh 6 week lead time, if you're lucky"

Getting standard dics and then getting a machine shop to groove them -NUFF SAID!:coffee:

Sent the the pads back to demon thieves with a standard one in the box, hopefully they can rub 2 brain cells together and sort it:sos:

Got the brakes sorted for the T2 now. Discs arrived from Mecaparts in very good time. Also found out that the only pads available over here are EBC Redstuff. The Ferodo ds2500 pads are the wrong shape and size - worth remembering.:ho:
