good man..........

chaeck the drain tubes are not blocked......stiff wire or a welding rod with tape on the end....1 on each corner...if they are blocked she'll leak like vicars choir boy

I likes 21's....

Top choice mate, I know Roj and Sarah looked after that car.

Might also be worth checking the seal when its closed - especially if either the back or front of the sunroof is closer to the bodywork than the other as they're SLIGHTLY adjustable... you may just have it 'off-centre' slighty. But as paul says... drain pipes first.

was thinking it was off centre as its leaking from the rear edge and not the front. going to look at it when its stays dry

Thats where the seal itself joins if I remember correctly. I take it that £150 you paid Renault was for new glass AND seal?

Did Renault forget to tell you that?? They leak as standard....:scared:

I wouldn't bother taking the roof out coz all the drain tubes are fitted to the corners and they're all clear...I know coz I refitted them when I repaired the sunroof assembly (the cables were seized).

The roof shuts straight and even if it didn't, it wouldn't matter because the glass fits inside the sunroof tray assembly and this is sealed, so any water getting in would just collect in the tray and run out of the drains.

I have a new glass (slide and tilt) fitted to BOB that came from Renault at a ridiculous cost a couple of years ago and it still leaks  (and this is the 2nd one they supplied because ...you guessed it, the 1st one leaked!!)

They leak between the seal and the glass and theres nothing you can do about it

Soz mate...anyway, are you looking after my baby???

geting the inside of a french bitch wet. i can do that or used to be able to do that
now all i get is dry

sorting out a sunroof is easy
the trim between the glass and roof is not a seal . a good fitting roof does help
there are 4 drain tubes on each courner of the main frame each of the tubes has to drain as fast as pos or a backup wil occure.

the next thing im gonna say might seem stupid but water will caplierise through the fitting

on some sun roofs fitted to renys . renault used a foam seal (bit like a draft excluder strip thingy)
to solve the ingres of water via the sun roof
clean out all the drain tubes
lower the sun roof assy
remove the OE foam seal
replace the foam sealing between the s/r and the body/roof with an impermable water but flexable sealent

jobbs a goodun innit :p
