Ive found some damage on my project 5 GT turbo so want to replace the headlight brackets, slam panel and frontcrossmember. Has anybody replaced the crossmember before? Just after some advice and maybe some correct measurements and mine measures 18cm from chassis rail to inner wing on offside and 19.5cm on nearside!

Need to know if the car should be symmetrical with regards to panels. nothing else looks out of shape. Any help appreciated!!

my bro is doing this to his ph1 at the moment, he's bough OE panels and is just unpicking the old ones and welding in the new

you can get those special drill bits for removing spot welds.
makes life a bit easier.
