I use a magnetic tipped drain plug, it seems to seal alot better than a normal sump plug.

I dont know if thats of any use though.

But I'm getting my bro to measure a washer for you now...:agree:...

Im using sump washers that have an internal diameter of between 17-18mm :)

get them from renault, its like a quid for a new sump plug and copper washer, however i've found the later type aluminium/rubber ones seal much better

Thanks guys. Trips to Renault are pretty much out the question. I was after the diameter please. I have some fancy sump plug already with a very strong magnet but I'm on my last washer and you can get 50 for under a tenner but was unsure of the sze.
