View Full Version : E-Bay! What would you do?
Sold an item 5 weeks ago on a buy it now. The buyer said he'd been trying to pay but couldn't! I rang paypal and they said it was a fault with HIS account. I told him this and he ignored it. He said maybe a problem with the listing so I sent him a PAYPAL money request, which he Ignored. I have now informed E-Bay and they must of e-mailed him because I had this today from the buyer -
i told you it wont let me pay via paypal! i asked you wot you wanted to do and you didnt reply, i no longer want these items and if i get an unpaid item strike then you will receave negative feed back. ball in your court my friend! but i can tell you this you ant getin a payment from me. i have reasons for not paying you and have tried many times i could appeal against an upaid item strike as PAYPAL would know ive tried to pay several times. you cant appeal agaist negative feed back. **** YOU ****.
What is my next move?
Have a beer and re-list it .
Guy sounds like a bit of a cock  Why bother with him ?
What a lovely human being he sounds. Forget him and relist.

go through the resolve a problem option, if it goes in ur favour he gets a non-paid mark against his profile, ull get ur fees back and if he leaves neg feedback contact ebay and they remove it as they have already sided with you in the claim, so his thats mean nothin, if the claim doesnt go ur way u dont lose anything and can still have his feed back removed.
bloke sounds like a right :jerkoff:

Phone ebay and give them the item number and explain your case. If he has put this in writting then they willtake it up for you.
It's not true that you can't argue negative feedback, they'll soon remove it once they see all this chit chat. Make sure alll convos are through ebay rather than a personal email address too so they can see it all :)
Yeah he is a bit of a dickhead.
It obviously really bothers him about his feedback/unpaid strike. It really doesn't matter to me if he leaves Negative feedback, I'm sure I'll live..I have done it all through E-Bay and they have contacted him and this is his response. I don't mind him not paying as I'll just relist, but it just pisses me off he has just left me hanging around waiting. He didn't respond to the Paypal request so I have gone this route. He has over 200 score with 100%...I'll soon change that
Oh ,I've also complained about the Message he sent as abusive...:agree:
Just a quick update.
E-bay told me to close the case and say he'd paid! Then I could say communication was cut blah blah blah. I did this and now it seems he has no unpaid strike as I said he'd paid  Stitched up I reckon..
On top of this E-bay will not remove the negative feedback he left as I doesn't fall into their unfair feedback..
So I'm left with a non paying buyer let off free and I have the negative feedback for a transaction that never happened...... F#~K YOU E-BAY!!!!!

ebay is right up the buyers arse these days as always, typical ebay..... tbh if someone was to pull the wool over my eyes like that i'd have no hesitation in paying them a visit to resolve their issues with me if i was selling it!
bloke sounds like a right f**kin tit just ignore him and email ebay with his username and all feedback from your side, ebay, paypal and the buyer, and tell them that if it isnt resolved then you'll be taking action against a wrongfully instated negative feedback... maybe then you might have a chance to get it off but then again, ebay and paypal are the same company so they'll be run by arrogant tossers who couldnt give a crap as long as people pay fee's etc:scared:

This thread and the one above from dj have put me off ebaying anything, its seems people always want something for nothing expect you to run round like a lunatic for them only to get kicked in the nuts. I might get all the stuff I have for sale and weigh it in for scrap:devil:
