was a FAIL..:sad2:

but on the good side it got to the mot station in one piece.

failed on, when the horn was pressed the horn stayed on :wasntme:. solid fuel pipe leak(got pipe on order):agree:. Also numpty here :rob:forgot to put the seat belt buckles in, in the rear. so will be removing the seats all together.

also got an advisory note bout the front suspension, there was a bit of play in the top and bottom of wheel when he push/pulles it in and out. he told me it would be my top mount but there are poly bushes in and be lowered by 50mm.

can anyone help with the above????

How much movement was in the wheel when it was pushed and pulled?

Does the wheel make a grinding noise when you turn it by hand?

Sounds more like wheel bearings to me?

probably best to whip off the strut/assembly and take a good look.

those bearings are pretty poor when you pull the struts apart, grinding, full of sh*t, easily split in two, but i'd guess the top hat itselfs smashed to bits.. i've has 2 old ones go on me now, got a new one ready for next time..:)

Yup & if the wheel bearing is quiet, time to get the damper like J said :agree:
