anyone know if TAS have a website?

want to check that the 0624 are for a ph2, and see what the default settings are for them

They only made them for phase ones, TAS folded up about 3 years ago now maybe more

I chucked out my old TAS catalogue earlier in the week, just for you I've been rooting through my bin.

TAS 0624R Renault 5 GT Turbo (eccentric)

as it happens, they're the same ones I bought. They're not PH2, they're PH1, but allow some camber change. I had a 'discussion' with TAS about this at the time.

So do you need phase 1 hubs, or suspension struts.......otherwise you end up with LOADS of negative camber???

The lower mounting bolt holes are different, ph1's are in line with each other where as the ph2's, the lower hole is abit further away from the strut body

Out of interest what difference do these mounts make~? they adjustable camber or something?

Lewis

Correct adjustable camber and i think some caster adjustment as well, I may have a pair up for grabs as well but want to try a few things first

Cool thanks for the feedback, so are these essential when fitting coilovers and lowering the front end or just nice to have?

oh, forgot to say thanks for lookin in the bin mr cooke! appreciate it!

i think the avo's are ph2 as the holes in the bottom are offset, but they came off a ph2... either they had mega camber or they had used the eccentricness to put it in the same position as a ph2... looking at the top of my strut on my raider, the centre of the shock is in the same position as on the TAS mounts, if that makes sense?

confused.com

think i may just put them on the raider and see what occurs

Compbake sell concentric and eccentric top mounts for phase one and twos:)

someone should make some top mounts which are independantly castor and camber adjustable.

Sorry for the spelling:sad:

Another alternative solution is to elongate the top hole on the lower mounting holes, and fudge the camber that way, or fit camber-corrective bolts.

Didn't Duncan Grier get some top mounts made up for his old gtt which done exactly that? I'm sure he offered them out to the rtoc masses as well at the time...

Not sure bud, I never saw any if I did I would have chewed his arm off for a pair.
Still amazes me that these popular cars have feck all bits made for them, if you look at what the ford lot get for example, their spoilt for choice.:)
