View Full Version : Cleaning Up Gearbox Oil
As per title, i have gearbox oil on my lovely big garage floor :sad2: :D
What's the best random cleaner/product to get this mess off my floor? And doesn't it flippin shtink :wasntme:
Chuck some sand on it and sweep it over the offending area repeatedly.
There are detergents to help bring it up. I had a slight splillage on my mums drive and I used about a ltr of a karcher pressure cleaner, worked well :)

I use tesco value kitty litter to soak any oil spills, works well and stops it smelling so bad. To lift stains I just covered it in fairy liquid and scrubbed with a stiff brush, then a blast from a pressure washer to wash it away
Thanks chaps, kitty litter, good job we've got a cat :D
I'll have a go tomorrow after work
