Had a nose on there and it was just a pics and got the idea they were selling each connector for £15... To point out the obvious I'll need a connector off the carb and then one on the other end, so are people tapping these into the actuator etc?

We use them at work. Got just about every size, shape and flavour in the stores, metal, brass and plastic.
I would'nt use any of them on a car thou, certainly not for vacuum or actuator pipe work. 1/8" BSP male bayonet fittings imo ;)

Not even the ones that are rated at 25 bar liquid or gas pressure?

Though using them for vacuum or actuator pipe work is overkill really.

As used by Erl with their Aquamist and by none other than myself for the charge temp unit's carb top fitting.

You can use matching sized nylon or PTFE pipe. Eg, with the above fitting it'd be 4mm OD pipe.

Ensure the pipe doesn't kink (very tight bend) or it reduces the flow. The kinks are permanent damage.

It's not as flexible as the rubber or silicon pipe and these don't take damage from a kink.

thats what im working with... i have a roll of 4mm and 6mm nylon pipe and a load or fittings, just want to see what someone else has created.. ive never seen these in the flesh so its a first for me, i could link old hose to the nylon pipe but it would most likely crush it, in plumbing we slip an insert in but that would make the internal dia to small..
