hi does anyone have or know where i can get a template for the side decals on an r5 gt or is it a case of measuring them up. as my mate owns a signwriting firm and recons he could replicate the gt graphics cheap he has top of the range machines with digital imaging for vans and says he could make them perfect, so wondering if i could get an exact template so dont have to measure up,

Attempts at replicating these decals has been discussed a lot before! If your man is confident he can get the fading dot effect spot on then he'd become a very popular man very quickly!!

Heres the last topic discussing an attempt at getting this sorted.

If the guy you know is confident of recreating this dot effect then im sure somebody wouldnt mind measuring a set of decals to help. Theres a few chaps on here with unused decals also, they 'might' offer to bring a set (if they're localish) for your man to see.

Good luck with it as im sure it would be a successful group buy. :)

I would be willing to lend a side, providing no damage comes to it and maybe a free sample. :D

You can easily replicate the side graphic's, to within 80% correct... you can do fade effect on a white back ground, red background etc but to get that back groud to match the colour of the car would be hard and would look crap...

although replica's have been done to a good standard before for around £80 for the set, although i would prefer to buy a genuine set for a few extra quid..
