turbo studs snapped

3 snapped in the hole:cry: i have managed to drill studs out before but there fudging every drill bit, ones got one snapped in, ones just bust a tap that i was using to chew another up with.. that leaves it pretty fecked and only good for the bin:crap:

its an ar47 rear housing, what are the odd of slipping on another and it fitting like a glove:coffee:

might try some better drill bits on the last stud but i feel im wasting my life

any ideas, shame as the turbos done all of 200 miles:disagree:

had to google that mofo, never heard of that before... asked a member on here to see if our local machine shop can take it in.. any ideas what that might cost, ever had the work done? payings to have it dones not all that bad, i gave my friend the turbo for feck all, a loss to me of over 350 notes, so he's quids in whatever happens:p

Not really sure as I get that sort of thing done for free/exchange by my customers .
I would reckon on about £25/40 to do 3 studs tho .

If it is cash I would would have thought £15 - £20, if you know the chap £10

i would of done it for £20 , have you snapped the tap in the hole ?? as thats hss ,had to move unless you have a tap remover :)

turbo went with my 5 as an bonus, im not paying but anything up to £50 sounds ok, especially if they start fecking up there own toiling to do the job..:cool:
