View Full Version : New / Uprated engine mounts

On the way out of Mallory park on Sunday I noticed my rear engine mount had snapped!

I now want to replace all 3 engine mounts with either new or uprated ones, does anyone know of any uprated mounts that might be better than new std ones? If not does anyone know the part numbers for the Std units from Reno?

I have used pearl parts which most people go for

PEM5301
PEM5450
PEM5224

Depending on where you go but they will be around the 40-50 mark.

Ash, Speedo's in crook used to do em or even partco. Failing that LT motors in stockton deffo did as i got one from there.

Local motorfactors should be able to order them in for you ashy, i got a rear mount the other day made by frontline, seems to be a lot harder than my original one. Also about a fiver cheaper than gsf. Failing that as Matt said partco will have them.

they buy a few genuine off me from time to time.....

Pearl is the supplier who do the mounts. They are available from Motor Parts Direct by you, not sure what other factors are near you which will supply them as well.

Their official company name is Pearl Products, their telephone no. is (01268) 756216, I'm sure they could be pursuaded to give you a local list of their customers/stockists if you called them. :)
