gearbox and LSD?

Right what gearbox fits the cj1 engine? and where can i get a cheap LSD from or what boxes come with them as standard that will fit?

any Renault J series gearbox will fit the engine
LSD, try gripper, Quaife, Avanti etc, but they aren't cheap
no gearbox uses an LSD

People get a LSD for the 5 box, just need to shorten one of the driveshafts for it to fit. Else you can go for boxes like the JC5 box which is supposed to be one of the strongest boxes you can get which fit these engines, they are cable speedo though rather than electrical. These can fit straight on and you should be able to get LSDs for these easy as they are the ones which go on the clio 172 or clio williams and megane 2.0 16v
