Hi,

right, my 5 has a pretty average standard engine, that has decided to stop working, but when i bought the car it came a freshly rebuilt fairly modded 2nd engine that i have sat in the garage, but the bottom end bearings had gone, it also has a decent box n clutch on it too

So what im after is the modded engine repairing, and a good coat of looking at to make sure theres nothing else wrong with it, then old one whipping out and good un dropping in, and setting up,probably pretty stright forward to someone who knows what there doing!:wasntme:

How much should i be looking at for this doing? and how long does it take to swap engine?

Also anybody recommend anyone around my area, Huddersfield, w yorkshire;)

Oh right, well should atleast be a solid engine otherwise. We put a Catcams/BB tuning GT cam in that one if I remember right :)

Maybe you/blocky/whoever could salvage the crank out of your current engine for use in the newer one.

Myself and mark can come and pick your car and engine up, then A frame it away to do the works needed.

hartwell is jun 15 of the m1 your about 30 something off the m1 arnt you ?

We do the cars at Marks, aslong as your car is taxed its no problem. If you do the ask around on here our work is quite well known !

You could also give Clee on here a shout, kind of work he's looking for and may be up his street.
10 mins off M1 / A610 junction, quiet central.
