Need to know what the difference is between the F7P and F7R besides cubic capacity and cam,

F7P 1768cc
F7R 1998cc

Does the F7P run a cam sensor as i can't see one on the F7P. Its next to the injector rail on the F7R if im not mistaken.

Does anybody have a ecu wiring diagram for a F7P, Got a F7R wiring diagram, want to compair the wiring also.

Im planning on putting a megane F7R in my clio but it has slight differences ie coil pack instead of dizzy, different idle air valve. loom length, planning on getting a williams loom i think.

Thankyou people :agree:

think f7p 31mm valves 137 bhp revs to 7200 rpm limit
williams f7r has 32mm and has a dizzy 150bhp
megane 2.016v f7r 33mm valves coil packs and no dizzy 150 bhp f7r has more midrange torque and lower rev limiter

IIRC Williams and Megane both have 33mm valves but williams has large inlet ports and megane has smaller ones. Williams revs more but megane has more torque.
Megane F7R in my phatty with adaptronic ECU was awesome. Revs to 7k+ with loads of torque. I still have the map for the Megane lump in the 5 which is still 150bhp but more torque than a std ECU.

Williams engine used a steel tubular exhaust manifold but the valver ran a cast angular manifold. The cast item is supposed to be the best one to use,
