Need a new turbo

I am doing an engine rebuild and just sent my T2 off to be refurbished.

Got a phone call today - the whole thing is screwed and is going to cost £400+VAT to fix. I'm assuming a whole rebuilt turbo is going to be cheaper than this, right? If so, where do I go to buy a box-fresh T2?

you can buy a brand new t2 unit for that price.
