Alright people.

Soon I'm gunna restore my phase 2 5,which is a bad way with rust holes everywhere. The thing i wanna know. insted of repairing all the holes i have a tl shell spare which i could reshell the gt turbo but the problem i have is if i reshell it with that shell would it become a 5 tl with a gt lump. i wanna keep it a gt turbo.

Yes. Legally, it will always be a TL. The only way you could keep it as a GT Turbo is with a bit of dodgy VIN number swapping.
