after seeing c5 swh (http://www.rtoc.org/boards/member.php?u=73) black 5 for sale and i think its worth good money easy what its up for and i under stand you loose so much money on these cars.
what do people think mines worth im not selling its just nice to know!!!!
iv just brought a gt tunning heat sheld would it look better than the on i have on now??

I would think £2,500-£3,000

You could however sell all the bling and return to standard (engine bay, wheels & tyres, parcel shelf) still sell the car for £2500-£3,000 & then sell all the bling.

agree, its madness, the standard cars seem to fetch the same and sometimes more than the modified :confused:

Standard car's are an up coming market, more people want a standard car... less standard cars about - parts can be hard to find and cost mega buck's....

I know Duncain G sold his vag 5 for alot more than £4k to minty...

i have been looking for anther gt for about 6 months now, and im being so picky, the last thing i want to do is buy a nice car for 2.5-3k then spend anther 2 on it getting it how i want it, for it to be worth what i payed.

Im 34 now and have lost thousands on cars mainly on new, i had an evo 8 about 5 years ago and worked out one day that car cost me 1200 a month, after depreciation, petrol, ins, and the money i was spending modifying. Lesson learnt and would never do it agian.

Funny about the price on the 5s compared to the rs turbo, but they have always fetched a premium especially the series 1s, same can be said about the wail tails.

yes mate took it straight up there had it checked out and was all good.
the lad i got the car from was a top boy he also had a mint red rs turbo in the lock up i new it was a good one what would u of paid for it

i want a white phase to up to or around 100k miles, standard body, resprayed, original graphics, preferably a non sunroof, buckets, uprated brakes a full race cage, and if the engines knackered fit a 172, not to picky them :p

It's hard to put a price on really,if someone wants it that bad they will paywhat your asking for.

I'd like to think i could get my money back for what i bought it for, so thats the way i'd value a my 5...unless your a trader and your wanting to make money
