I have a saxo 1.1.

I have a A frame, and im thinking of getting a towbar.

just wondering if it would be able to tow my 205 gti and r5 easy enough.

wasnt planning on towing them far, only really , to and from bodyshops.

hmmm, i duno about it being downhill all the way, but im sure if could be flat all the way as opposed to up hill. There is a hill close to me thats silly steep that id never even consider towing up :P

He's basically saying no mate. You'd need something with more weight / grunt for stability and pulling power.

There are rules and regulations about towing, depending on when you took your license what cats you have and the curbside weight, is it a braked or no braked trailer

ok , cheers for the advice guys, its anoying as its about 2 miles to the bodyshop, but the cars need to go there a few diffrent times, they are both driveable hwoever not moted/taxed/insured so i planned on using the aframe just to be a little more legal and less likely to get pulled.

you might be as well to buy this landrover (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-landrover-dicovery_W0QQitemZ250522374202QQcmdZViewItemQQptZA utomobiles_UK?hash=item3a544c103a) complete with tow bar use it before the mot and tax runs out and flog it again for probably the same :) or someting else equally cheap on ebay ;)
