i'm turning my boost up from the standard 10 to 14psi, carbs been rejeted to cope, only thing is i see that k-tec say they adjust boost sensor when turning up the boost..... i don't have one fitted to the car anymore, i got rid of it when fitting samco boost pipes, wires are just hanging there unplugged

is this a problem? cheers

not a problem just tuck them out the way and insulate them to stop them from touching :)

cheers for the quick reply :) so a boost sensor is not needed at all then? what was its original purpose?

to cut a long story short, it was originally intended to cut the ignition to 1 (or 2?) cylinders IIRC if it senced you were running more boost. Basically to stop your engine from going bang on the standard setup

Someone else will correct me if im wrong no doubt :)
