hi ppl ive just built a c1j for my mates car.

a quick run down on the engine

new pistons and rings
old but honed linners
new bigs and mains
new oil pump
standard cam
skimmed head
rebuilt standard carb with standard jets
it has new leads

nothing fancy

put it in over the weekend, she idles fine and revs cleanly,

on a road test she pulls realy nice from idle to say 3 k

obviously shes a new engine and things need to be run in so she has minumamum boost, car only has a standard boost guage and the needles hiting the R if that make sence.

but if u try to actualy put yr foot down she coughs and spluters.
jerks around alot.

kind of like an ignition cut. the over boost sencor is un pluged and taped up tho

could this be a mixture problem,
a dying coil
crappy dizzy and rota (of wich are second hand) but look in good clean condition

what do u guys rekon
