f4r head bolts [Archive]

just out of interest does anybody if the f4r shares the same m12x110x1.5 head bolt as the f7p as standard , or a contact for 12.9 bolts as above spec:)
could not find anything in board/internet search and my local nuts&bolts supplier wont get any in as not enough demand and bulk purchase :crap: but noticed that ARP are doing the stud/nut set for the f4r and since my engine will be in the boot would make my life easier for when i have to do a head gasket change(going to happen sooner or later):laugh:

Hi m8, I bought mine from Reno and they cost me £60.00 for a set. Will be interested to find out if you can use a std 12.9 bolt instead!

andy, f4r bolts are m12 x 1.5mm x 118mm long, not including the head.

i have got a set of o.e bolts, but they are 10.8's not 12.9 tensile ;)
60 sheets from renault :( ARP must be about the same kind of price and you would get 3 h/gasket changes out of one set (according to peeps in board search)

i will invest in a a set of ARP studs & nuts, 8mm difference i can live with:D
have enough clearance in cylinder to get them on:cooter:
