View Full Version : Brake bleeding, Any tips
After fitting new rear calipers and brake lines on the GTT im'e strugling to bleed the the rear brakes? Fronts OK, Rears i can get the fluid through but it isnt pumping through with the pedal. Any ideas:confused:
Steve
You know the load regulator valve under the rear, give its lever a good wiggle to make sure it isn't seized, then wedge it all the way toward the front of the car (so that it pulls toward the beam). that will allow max fluid through so you can bleed it. sometimes takes a while to get fluid through to the rears.

Cheers Chris, Ill give it a try:)
Easy bleed kits are an awsome help too:agree: with the rear compensator tie gripped close it litterally takes 5 mins:coffee:
sometimes if the load sensing valve is old it can be blocked causing this problem not usualy much you can do other than get a new laod sensing valve unless it is just seized then loads of wd and lots of wiggling will do the job.. hope this helps:cool:
