Hi,

Looked at my turbo whilst my boyfriend was doing the head gasket and wasn't sure whether it's standard or not as it looks quite new and is very loud when it winds up (internals are fine - no movement).

It's a Garrett AirResearch and there's nothing elso on it apart from '48'.

Any ideas? Cheers

Sounds standard to me. The loud 'whooshing' sound is more than likely induction noise if you have a cone filter fitted...

Hi Jesus. (PoGoPo from SJCC incase you wondered who the feck I am lol :) ) Yes I've got a cone filter so that would explain it!
