Saw Green Day on Monday night at Sheffield. Pretty ****ing awesome gig, indeed pretty much top of 20 + years of gigs.

Now a bit stuck around who to go see next
Saw Oasis with Kasabian and The Enemy in July, not a lot about at the mo that really float me boat :crap:

Been to see stacks of comedy this year including
Eddie Izzard - seeing again friday
Ross Noble
Reginald D Hunter - so ****ing funny, not like the Reg you see on TV
Simon Amstell - mildly amusing
Got tickets to see Rich Hall and Lee Mack

Anyone else worth going to see music or comedy wise??

If you like your 80's vibe, UB40, Simple Minds, Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, and the Pet Shop Boys are all touring the next couple of months.

go see The Prodigy.
saw them 4 or 5 times back in the 90's, they were awesome then, and are supposed to be awesome now.

I'm with Sparkie. Seen The Prodigy 6 times now and every time is bigger and better. They're playing in december too :agree:
And they pick the warm up act so its alway good. Last time I saw them they had Dizzee Rascal on first with Kissy Sell Out DJing between sets.

Reckon Depeche Mode should be pretty , some suitably edgy and dark stuff.

Sir Cliff indeed, i'm not as old as :mart: you know

Good call on The Prodigy, similar vibe, right up there on all time gigs was PWEI & EMF at Leeds Met (before it claimed to be a uni, maybe I am as old as :mart: after all :D).

Would kinda go see Placebo but not sure if I could put up with brian molko's whine for more than a couple of songs:confused:

Need another fix of Killing Joke but definitely not Spandau fecking Ballet! How the hell did they sell out 9 nights anywhere!:confused::confused::scratch:

I'll second that, they were awesome at Reading this year! I would love to see them live as a proper gig and not just 45 minutes or so. The Foo Fighters are meant to be good to see to and Muse.

Proud to say our eldest daughter (Jaz) is named after such a well balanced character :D
