hi when doing the cup mod do you take the one way valve out of the inlet manifold and put an m8 into the manifold or do you leave the one way valve in the manifold and tap an m8 into the end of the one way valve? thanks

Are you talking about the exhaust elbow rather than the inlet manifold?

You bung up the exhaust elbow with the bolt. And remove the rest of the pipe work which is attached to that, then put the vacuum hosing between carb base and actuator.

If you are doing the cup breather mod yes you will doing that to the inlet manifold.

But if your doing the cup boost mod you will be doing as Dale advised.

hi yeh im on about doing the cup breather mod, but do i remove the one way valve out of the inlet manifold and block the manifold or leave it in and block the end where the hose went onto it?

Take the valve out & block the hole with a bolt. Use a good sealing washer, and/or put ptfe tape on the bolt thread.

Worth keeping the valve though, as it's a good spare to have if the valve on the brake servo circuit fails.
