ok,
to fit along side the aem uego ive purchased im wanting -

1x boost gauge(psi or bar)
1x oil pressure

now im wanting to go with the std dash dials colour so the new gauges dont look too out of place.

im thinking of buying the following gauges but the only thing is i do not know what brand.manufacturer they are made by. does anyone possibly recognise the packaging etc?

boost gauge (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370279432764&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT)

oil pres gauge (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Red-OIL-PRESSURE-GAUGE-NISSAN-PORSCHE-SUBARU-TOYOTA_W0QQitemZ370280391230QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item56366e623e )

also has anyone got these Prosport gauges fitted? as these maybe another option -

boost gauge (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PROSPORT-SMOKED-SUPER-AMBER-BOOST-GAUGE-KIT-PSI_W0QQitemZ110450403088QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Car sParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item19b75b6710)

oil pres gauge (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PROSPORT-SMOKED-SUPER-AMBER-OIL-PRESSURE-GAUGE-KIT_W0QQitemZ380171589281QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Car sParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5883fe16a1)

so come on! anyone? :dearme:

if i had the money id go for boost and oil pres gauges from stack (http://www.stackltd.com/instruments_pro_control.html) but i cant justify spending over £100 on just one gauge alone:eek: ive already spent £170 on a aem uego which i hope is money well spent.

ALSO can i get a few pics of gauges mounted to the a-pillar? i really cant make my mind up on weather to fit the gauges in the cente console or the a-pillar:brickwall:

ive thought about it, but i really dont like the idea of them being down there, i prefer it if the gauges are in line of sight while driving if you get me.
ive also considered a 3x a-pillar pod but still,i think these look out of place as i cant find any other than i black:crap:
i think im going to use 3 seperate pods and simply bolt them to the std a-pillar. anyone done this? pics pls

Glad you got this thread going mate :) I like both Red and Amber, not much to choose between them. I'd go with whichever are known to be the better quality.

That A-pillar does look good, although more work than you were betting on I imagine :)

the a-pillar is spot on but i really havent got the time to faff around:crap: so im either going to mount the gauges in the centre vents using one of THESE (http://www.lbperformance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=80_91&products_id=1186) depending on how much work is needed for them to fit OR simply buy 3 separate gauge pods like THESE (http://www.lbperformance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=80_91&products_id=1185) and bolt them to the a-pillar.

turning out to be harder than i thought:sad:

i was going to buy the prosport amber gauges but ive found out that there chinese made and im not really wanting chinese made stuff Unless its a proven product.:crap:

i cant afford the stack or spa gauges and the mocal ones im just not that keen on although they are ok.

could someone suggest any brands made in the uk or not to far afield apart from whats been mentioned? pref in amber.

raj the prosport stepper series are suppose to be accurate to 3% and alot of the scooby boys use them to find them spot on.
